The Power of Story

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

When literacy efforts focus solely on pieces of the reading and writing process, it’s like trying to teach kids to play hockey through skating drills. To be human is to tell story and to tell story is what makes us human. Author Sigmund Brouwer shows where story gets its power, why story is so effective, and how harnessing the power of story is one of the best ways to increase literacy in a technology world.
