Using Inquiry in FSL

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will offer teachers an opportunity to explore how to use the inquiry approach in French as a Second Language by asking overarching questions such as "What Does It Mean to be French?" and then inviting students to think like Cultural Anthropologists and Linguists. Through an inquiry approach, the focus becomes about teaching students to have an appreciation for the different French cultures around the world and to develop an understanding of the language through an exploration of how one learns a language within a real-world context of related careers such as Linguists and Anthropologists.
