Dramatic Storytelling

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Storytelling - a timeless art form that is taught across every grade level. But how does one create a story out of nothing? How can you get deeper into the idea of a story? What are some unique ways to tell a story with a different voice? Go 4 Broke's very own TJ and Josh delve into the art of dramatic storytelling. Through learning basic improv and acting techniques, you will learn a kinesthetic and movement-based exploration of storytelling. This hands-on approach will explore story generation, storytelling structures, exploring theme and individual story moments, and the creation of characters. Need a break from pen and paper brainstorming? Let the 2 artistic directors of Go 4 Broke's Storyteller's Improv Academy give you some new techniques for your classroom's approach to storytelling!
