Learn the basics of gore makeup: bruises, black eyes, cuts, scars and dueling wounds…..all on a budget. The skills can be used in a number or courses including Drama and Film Studies as a practical and fun hands-on activity. With all the TV shows and movies focusing on violence and gore, this unit will begin to diffuse the fascination. Come in healthy; exit looking like you need medical leave.

A drama teacher for 35 years, in Australia and Calgary Gail is presently teaching Drama Education at U of C, while still teaching workshops at schools in Alberta and British Columbia. Gail has presented sessions at Calgary Teachers’ Convention, CARFAC, Alberta Fine Arts Council, Edmonton, Red Deer and Lethbridge Teachers’ Conventions.
