Adventures in Yearbook Design

In this session, teachers will learn how to organize and design a school yearbook from start to finish. Tools of the trade as well as common pitfalls and challenges will be discussed. The presenter will also introduce ways teachers can connect high school CTS outcomes to yearbook development. Sharing his years of expertise in yearbook design, Nabil Mouallem from Friesens, will co-present in this session.

Nabil Mouallem is a Friesens Yearbook representative in Edmonton, Alberta. Nabil has various schools throughout Alberta that he supports as they build and design their yearbooks using the Friesens online software. Nabil is a veteran yearbook designer and having worked in the field with various schools for several years, has a wealth of knowledge and experiences to share with others regarding yearbook design.
